thinking about how if you're willing to grind it out, limbus company will give you literally all of its units. but it's so round about. you grind mirror dungeon for battle pass rewards, battle pass rewards are often shards, and once it's maxed at 120 it's always shards
it took me a hot minute to figure all that out, but I managed to put it together
it's good to know, really, cause there's a lot of units I think would be nice to have. I wonder what the average is
average number of crates needed for one gold id
well each crate is 1-3, so average 2
you get 3 per level, and 3 levels per run.
so 18 shards a run
you'd need around ~200 crates to get an 000 id
so about 22
runs that is
yeah if you have the battlepass you'd get around 69-71 crates every week once you've maxed out the bp
the battlepass is like 10 dollars and it lasts 5-7 months so it's a very good bang for your buck

there are some exemptions though, bc there are certain units that are timegated (so you cant shard them right away)
like the season 5 units I really want are currently locked away

yep! and most common example is walpurgisnacht, which is their limited banner that comes every 3 months
they're units based from projmoon's older games, lobocorp and ruina, and they're some of the most op units in the game
oh interesting. good to know that there's limiteds to be saving for
during walpurgisnacht you're not allowed to shard those units during that current banner. you have to wait till the next walpurgisnacht to be able to get them for free
oh, when was last Walpurgis anyways?
last january. we're supposed to have one last april but they're focusing their work on canto 8 rn so they're saving that to after part 3 of canto 8
so you'll see more advanced "endgame" players like me saving up their lunacy for walpurgisnacht while sharding the other units
makes sense makes sense. I've just been rolling on current banner trying to build up shards and new units
yeah i dont rly suggest saving up for walpurgis if you dont have a built team yet

my team is pretty good I think, level 40s uptie 2 and 3, bleed synergy
bleed isn't the strongest I feel, but I have a lot of those
for "Stuck in canto 4", I can't make my units much stronger except my grinding upties
yeah last season was bleed season where they'd released better bleed ids

i forgot what team i used back then w dongbaek it was years ago. i think i used nclair at the time bc he's a very strong clasher even up to this day
bleed is fun now that the newer units have better ways to apply bleed
any recommendations for who to shoot for from season 5?
you're building a bleed team, so id say all of the bloodfiends
also kurokumo heathcliff and ishmael, and not just bc they're my favorites

the blood fiends all seem to synergize with each other so it makes it hard to pick out which is the right one to grind for first
