When you wake up to pee and the ringing in your ear is so loud, you don't think you can get back to sleep. I hate tinnitus. It had been so much better and now it's suddenly 10x worse.

Usually putting some music on in my headphones fixes the ringing if not the sleep issue. This time it's so loud, I'm hearing it over the music.

Only having four hours of sleep is probably contributing, but how can I sleep with the ringing?

I get that with lack of sleep stomach aches. My boy actually has the temerity to wake me up to make me sick from lack of sleep

Ugh, "I barely slept but now my body won't let me sleep" is never a fun dilemma. I hope you can get some rest now that it's gone down a bit.

That's happened to me with lack-of-sleep headaches, but at least I can take painkillers about those :/

My ear's starting to itch, so maybe it's early stages of an ear infection. The tinnitus gets worse then.

(Lucky me, I rarely get pain for ear infections, so I never know when I have them but for itching that may or may not be a sign.)

I managed a nap, though it was from about noon to 5pm, so. We'll see if that means I'm up all night.

Exacerangutan: Literally the loudest it's ever been. I remember the doctor when he was diagnosing me asked if the ringing was coming more from one ear or the other. At the time, I couldn't tell. (I have about 10% hearing loss in my left ear.) This was definitively one ear.
