[WanderLARP] Despite some low points at the end of the first day, WanderLARP was an ultimately great experience. Reki was certainly challenging as she has 0 combat-ability but when I was able to get to RP her out, it felt really good.
the low points were effectively "oh, I tried to be a guardian angel for someone in combat and I'm not able to support them well." which is like... a bummer but it hit a little harder the first night cause I felt I hadn't really gotten on a plot train yet or in a RP group
that feeling extended into Saturday morning coming in cause I wasn't sure what I wanted for Reki ultimately. thankfully the first Lain centric scene really helped to put me on a track that Reki cared about. And shout outs to Cate/Tyrion (I don't recall his plurk) for joining in and representing Reki legally.
but ho-ly shit the Reflection of Love scene was exactly what I needed from the LARP as a whole. really gave a good foothold to let Reki pour out her heart about her insecurities and her self loathing. and shout outs to the players there that gave their supporting words cause they're want Reki needed to hear
going in Sunday I had an idea of what Reki's epilogue was gonna be like, but then the finale happen so now that idea is crumpled and thrown away and I gotta think up something else. Thanks furikuchan! (/affectionate)
FluridCube: I mean... "beat up" is a strong way to describe was Reki did. she more just didn't die because she was besides like... 3 of the best combatants in the LARP
FluridCube: feels like being congratulated for slaying an awful king just because he died next to me, when in reality, I'm just 3 kobolds in a trench coat
