Historically when I get to WanderLARP, I'll take the metro out of the Airport to William H Gray 30th St, then transfer to another train to Norristown. They'll check me for tickets then, but on my way to the Airport from 30th street, I wasn't checked this most recent time.

Normally you need the ticket to get in and out of the 30th street turn table, but also like... I'm not sure if I needed to get another ticket to go from 30th to the Airport.

I probably do, but what's everyone elses experience with that?

the turnstyles are recent, so not usually BUT when it comes to not being checked usually sundays and late night is pretty common for the conductor not to care

were there a lot of people on the train? On the shorter trips if there are enough people you can get away with it

At worst you pay em 10 bucks for the ticket, but im guessing with how the turnstyles work they may not bother checking outbound on the airport line

I mean I rather like the system (I honestly wish Atlanta's Marta system would take some notes) so I don't mind supporting it

its very good at getting into and out of the city

if they could get their act together and run way more frequently, itd be very good at getting across the region\

FluridCube: I just wish we had a proper train system to get across long stretches of land.

plane's nice and all but there's something so much more relaxing about riding the metro or train
