walter thinking of the admiral as a quack!
Barge as quackery is spreading.... slowly.... very slowly....
He was thinking of it more in a word association way. Right now he is in the admiral "devil" agenda as in "it is a deal with the devil"
I am putting this here to build a narrative cause Walter reacting to Malcolm getting chomped is also gonna be in here
Still, Pyotr has referred to the Barge as quackery repeatedly.
sorry for chewing on your Warden, Walter.
Admiral is putting leeches on them
Every warden should experience a death toll on at least an annual basis.
He did try to chew harder. Malcolm knifed him in the mouth.
he did! if he'd been bit by his upper mouth he probably could have easily broken some bones.
I am slowly bopping around with momentum from this drama finishing out June and I am happy. To be honest... Objectively Walter is in a rut... But I'm trying to just live in the moment
I'm shaking my head at him because straight up like Sweeney asking him "did you ever torture Maggie?" i.e. someone else other than Arthur has literally brought him closer to having any character development than MOST OTHER THINGS in 2025
I do want him to find out Malcolm got chew toyed... OH what if he finds Malcolm’s knife on the floor on deck somewhere half skittered under a bench or something and bloody and recognizes it?
Then brings it to him. He’d very plainly admit what happened.
oh I've just been waiting for update from you. First question, is Malcolm forced/agreeing to stay home in the immediate aftermath of his mauling
He doing his regular. He was in the infirmary for a bit that day tho.
Yeah like I was thinking Walter sees him on deck/wherever with million bandages and is like WHY
However your vision with the knife is also good so I will think about it
Yeah bc Ulla healed his wounds so he escapes bandaid free tho he does own one very bloodstained towel Walter could also notice in his garbage.
And he doesn’t currently know where his walking around knife is.
I should have a starter of some kind within the next two days
link me when it pops up ♡♡♡
magicom:btw, Will
will absolutely hand him another knife before he leaves their cabin the next time.
also, I still want to reply to Walter on the flood post, but I am the slowest to ever respond...
REACHES LOVINGLY TO AMY WITH BOTH MY ARMS... I'VE BEEN HERE LIKE OH... OH I'M THE WORST I HAVE ONLY WRITTEN MY ONE COMMENT ON THAT LOG...
yeah >_< I know exactly how that goes.... /hi5 of slowness and frustration/
There's been a blackout at my house so add 24 hours to all estimates I guess
hope the power comes back soon!
Oh no the worst i hope they get it fixed
We're all very safe here and power came back in about three hours, but yeah, my attention is elsewhere
May I just randomly pop in here to say that I have been watching a movie called The Endless today and its whole cult vibe has me thinking of Walter ngl.
Like the whole... "this is a cult and we're stuck here why don't you all see it?" it just. made me think of ya.
It's such a good movie. Also the one they made before it, "Resolution" is really good
(I've also thought of The Endless before too in connection with TLV, but I can't remember what specific connections I was making)
(I think it was the idea of an eldritch horror that just really craves Stories = Admiral)
omg??? this trailer was so disorienting and terrifying
it feels like it's been several minutes but it's only been ninety seconds
onemuon: YEAH. It definitely has that vibe of an Entity that loves Watching ants do crazy shit around it.
The beginning gave me the vibes around the cult being brainwashed into liking it in their crazy not-normal live with this Thing, but once you get more into it it got into that.
(Also sorry, it that technically spoilerish? Sorry if it is.)
Iiiii have seen the sidebar notes (on Amazon) mention the other movie but I have not seen it! I may have to now!
I highly recommend it. I actually like it a bit better than The Endless. It was made on such a shoestring budget too.
Also I'm sorry Lenga, maybe I should have put a content warning. the trailer scared me too, before I first saw it. The movie itself did and didn't scare me. i would say it is overall not that scary of a movie but has an eerie atmosphere. it also feels like the movie cares about its characters, which is refreshing for a horror film
the trailer scared me too, when I first saw it**
On I meant more like just... I was teleported to another world, haha
I had this episode of "barely able to stay awake through the work day", which I don't think is indicative of a serious health problem or anything but has really robbed me of time to act on momentum before Weekend Activities
So yeah I'm doing family stuff I'm not really ready for casual PWM
My priorities are Will reply and Malcolm starter. Those two things. Keep the goals realistic. Then uh we'll see.
