Me: I'm so glad it's Friday. The quiet day at work. Work: ALL CREDIT CARDS HAVE SUDDENLY FAILED AND THE CEOS ARE PISSED AND WANTING ANSWERS WE DON'T HAVE!!! Yup. Fridays. So peaceful... So quiet....
They weren't happy with our solution of: people keep their receipts of things they have to buy using personal accounts and send us scans/photos of them. Then we reimburse from our secondary account that has been set up just for this sort of reason until the problem is fixed at our main bank within the next couple hours.
And we basically did nothing past send out a company wide email alerting people to the fact that the system was down and to save any receipts they had to pay from personal accounts.
Then a second email to advise things should be working now, but if not to keep using personal accounts over the weekend. With the promise to pay them all back on Monday.
LOL can we throw money at it? Such a rich people question. The bank already has all your money, they'll gladly take more but it won't solve anything faster
