I do not like that bases require fuel to maintain. It makes sense but it makes me anxious

I feel like I have to play and I'm just not about that lifestyle right now

Pax Dei got an update for combat recently. I don't think it's as good as Dune's combat. I love Dune's skill trees

But I also can just put down a plot and log in when I please without repercussions of missing a day or five in a row

I already talked to some old Pax buddies and I have 3 clans offering to take me in if I did choose to go back to the game

Idk what to do about Dune though

I like solo'ing the game...

I don't really like the current end game (they are making massive changes very soon though) and I am just not vibing with the group stuff much either

I like the guild I'm in. I don't like the politics that are surrounding us as we become more hard core

There will always be politics. MMOs are politics

I have never played an MMO that didn't have politics lol

It's probably why guild leading in MMOs is so fucking draining

So I think I'm just so tired of it. I think guild leading in BDO tuckered me out of politicking for MMOs

And that might be why I am souring with Dune as we start making alliances and drawing literal lines in the sand with other large guilds for spice mining and gear farming

I reinstalled Pax Dei like a sucker lol

So I stared at several world maps for....... 2 hours last night. I wish I was kidding

I picked a spawn point and ...... well.

I realized I didn't like it but I was also far too lazy to make another new character and try again

I did have two maps I was considering (out of 4) and about 6 home valleys between those 2 maps (out of 20) that seemed like it would have the starting resources I'd be after

I picked a border spot between Wiht and Nene within Merrie

Technically I'm on the Nene side but I am about 10 steps away from Wiht

I am quickly realizing a flaw, there is very little clay nearby and clay is a big eternal resource

But there are tons of boar, wolves, herbs and flowers in the area

There's also higher tier wood and lower tier stones so everything else is great

It's literally just the clay that I'm having trouble finding.

I'm not going to give up on the location yet... But I might have to do leg days for clay runs which kinda really sucks

Geeeeeeeeeeez I wish they would add mounts to this game already. It's so sorely needed with the sheer size of the maps
