she also forgot to pull out meat to thaw so I have a whole bag of pork (PRESUMABLY, HER TEXT SAID FREEZER RIGHT HAND SIDE AND SO FAR IT'S THE ONLY THING PORK-LOOKING I HAVE REASONABLY FOUND BUT IT IS NOT MARKED) thawing in the sink

believe me. beLIEVE me. I am not cooking for this dog every single day. 'oh he prefers it fresh' he's a dog if he's hungry he'll eat it

his meat- boiled egg- kale- carrot- coconut- bacon- butter- and two half pills- meal

I will make at least enough for a couple meals aight I'm not gonna go crazy also this dog is gonna eat better than me

it's. look. I don't know. cook the meat in butter, but also she says they give him a lil bit of butterfat in the morning to help him feel full

good news, she did make some food ahead of time. good especially bc I had pulled chicken instead of pork and had to go digging for the pork, and now she's asking me to fnd some stuff they forgot that I promise you do not currently exist in any place tha tmakes sense-

but anyway the other sit is now done, bye wilson and marty! it's also Too Hot to do anything with marley here rn

mimi decided she wanted to go outside in this heat (she's indoor/outdoor yes I know I hate it too) so whatever, but I'm not walking the dog in the heat

it'll have to be closer to like. bedtime. until I take him out.

I actually was gonna have him go out for a pee rq and he did NOT want to budge an inch

I'm not sure when I'll be giving him food, I'll try to walk him after

and I gotta get up mega early for work the next couple days, man I'm just really tired and vaguely stressed in a way that makes me kinda wanna do a cry

I'll need a vacation after this tho like damn

I also need an actual meal of food and to drink some water and that might lol help

I want to stop fucking existing right now I have the most splitting headache and I'm reasonably sure in starting to cramp and this dog

This poor dog is so uncomfortable rubbing around on everything and scratching up a storm

And barking his head off

And I have to get up in 4ish hours

I can't do anything for this dog, he gets one pill a day and one treatment of ointment a day and I have been given no further instructions about the itching

I'm still shocked that either the vet didn't give him a cone or the dogmom didn't want to give him one

I gave him another chill out type treat

I can't give myself anything bc this is a very holistic type woman I doubt she has anything I would take for anything

I thought I brought pills for myself just in case but I just have forgotten to refill that stuff at home between sits

Anyway nothing like having a full blown sobbing fit on a veritable strangers floor

he did eventually calm down and come sleep but of course this morning he's itchy, he- I think he spat up a little bit cuz there was a touch of bile on the floor?, he's not eating breakfast so he just generally doesn't seem to be feeling well

but ALSO I've hugely disrupted his normal schedule so like. maybe he just vastly dislikes eating this early

so I'm leaving his food out cuz he'll eat when he's hungry and also man ngl I won't be surprised if his wound's a lot worse through the week I genuinely might go pick up a cone or a soft thing you wear

still headachy in a bad way but not an I'm going to die way, and I was finally spot on yes I was having cramps bc the second I stood up this morning gravity did the rest wheeeee

AND I work TONIGHT too so it's such a fun day, at least I don't work in the morning the next couple days...

I THINK THINGS ARE GONNA WORK OUT GUYS I think I was. under a couple misconceptions bc this dogmom communicates like actual ASS

and we are now trying a little neckerchief type thing to see if it keeps him from scratching his spot too bad. I'm a little skeptical, and we're open to me going and getting him like some soft collar cone type thing, just bc the spot is directly under his ear and not like. back behind it

but I gave him his daily ointment which normally involves him running circles rubbing up against everything, and while I kept him from getting up and adjusted the neck thing to be a bit over the spot, he laid back down and is snooze city

not sure how much it'll do for him re: his scratching but

also it seems to me that I was feeding him more frequently than necessary bc I was under a wrong impression lol so this dog is now spoiled af but we'll get him back to what he's supposed to be doing

we'll figure it out

if he kicks up a fuss again tonight I'll hopefully be more fine with it bc I don't work tomorrow morning

PRODUCTIVE MORNING AFTER ACTUAL SLEEP and then the morning will keep being productive one way or another cuz I'm gonna see about getting him a donut or a soft cone so he stops being able to reach his hot spot

he got the neckerchief off in the middle of the night and it really doesn't seem to actually cover the spot cuz it's in an awkward place like that
