Thank goodness I had a midnight snack at midnight

Uh so Katie fell asleep standing up again

She may have broke her hip, we can't tell.

And you might be like. SURELY if she broke her hip she would be in SO much pain she would KNOW

AND TO THAT I SAY

You don't know just how many pain meds she's on

We genuinely can't tell

She's on enough to kill a normal person twice her size

It's..................... Intense. I won't say what or which because there's stigma with this crap but I can assure you despite all of what she is on she still gets massive pain spikes for weeks on end

Anyway I'll just update here with what's going on

It's UVA so... maybe we'll be home by 6am

If we're lucky, I'll be asleep by 8

I did ask her if it feels as bad as when she broke her leg and she said "I don't remember" so hopefully that's a no...

4am and we still haven't been seen

Katie keeps apologizing between naps

I'm just glad she's napping while seated

Although I bet if she fell asleep standing up in the ER, they'd probably assume she fainted...... it might get her seen to faster

But let's not break anything more than what's already broken...

If we're still waiting by 6am I'll offer to catch her when she falls, that's all I'm saying

I got home and crashed oops

They saw us like a little before 6. So we were waiting about 4 hours. Which, although crazy, she was not in a life threatening situation so it is what it is

They did X-rays and didn't find anything (thank goodness). She'll have a nasty bruise they said but that's the worst of it

I just wanna sleep all day, we didn't get home until 8 or so
