got the third book in the Master Li trilogy for 2 bucks FINALLY

I've had Bridge of Birds and Story of the Stone for years, been searching all this time for Eight Skilled Gentlemen.

btw if you, dear friend, like Sherlock Holmes, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and/or Chinese mythology, please find and read these three books

Barry Hughart literally only wrote these three books and then quit writing, which is very sad, because his writing is genius.

anyway then I also scored a physical copy of Watership Down, the second-most-ever-read book of my life (surpassed only by LOTR)

and a $10 set of hardcover Complete Sherlock Holmes. Half-Price Books for the fucking win in a single week goddamn

(I have two abridged Holmes anthologies, aging back to the 1980s, but I have never actually read any of the novels nor the "less popular" short stories)

now I just need physical copies of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Journey Into the West and my life will be complete.
