I like the premise of this episode. (An organization similar to SPECTRE is threatening to unleash a biological weapon on the city)

April Moon had a gruesome ending. (Or at least it was implied to be gruesome) It had a bit of a film noir vibe to it; I liked it.

Sentries Of The Last Cosmos starts off with a scene where the music and sound effects make me think Star Wars while the character designs make me think of the New Gods. (Understandable since, if Superman is any indication, the people behind the DCAU are big Jack Kirby fans) Guessing it's an in-universe movie.

Never mind, it's a VR game. Guessing Spellbinder is involved. (Though maybe they had a plot like this with Spellbinder already; it's been a while since I've seen some episodes)

Elden Michaels sounds like Patton Oswalt.

Turns out that he is voiced by Patton Oswalt. (And Spellbinder wasn't involved - this is at least the second time that I've falsely assumed a supervillain is behind something)

I'm guessing Payback is a disgruntled teenager.

(His dialogue makes him seem childish)

I like the little moments where Bruce is proud of Terry.

Bruce: What are you?
Payback: Your worst nightmare.
Bruce: You have no idea what my nightmares are like.

Classic Batman.

Max clearly did not think it through before saying "make me" to Bruce Wayne telling her to go home, when she knows that Bruce Wayne is the original Batman.

Shriek made a bad choice in designing his machine; the fan on top looks like a swastika.

No idea how he survived a building collapsing on him when he didn't have his armour on.

Bruce's attempt at serving as a distraction while Max tried to sneak into the tunnels cracked me up.

Starting Ace In The Hole.

Puppy Ace is adorable; I have a bad feeling about this flashback.

Good, it doesn't show the full extent of Ace's abuse. (Just hints at it)

Good episode, and good way to finish season 2. Almost done with the show! I'm planning to watch the movie once I finish season 3. Might do a double feature and rewatch Mask Of The Phantasm as well.
