I clean and iron
everything, that's my super emergency supply, why do you IGNORE the 'please serve yourself here if needed' part of the house and go literally dig in a part of the house where I asked you NOT to touch too much since 'this is where supplies for cleaning are'
now I have to clean TWO whole bedding sets which is annoying and purchase a new 'in case of emergency break the plastic' one
I guess I will keep that one hidden in my own room downstairs?
when asked 'why' they said 'there was fur on the sheets'
1) i don't see it and I'm checking right now
2) fur? You're the one with a dog, I had no guests with pets in a while before you guys
3) WHY the still sealed stash?
not to mention THAT one wasn't washed first. So technically it's dirtier than my 'cleaned deeply, ironed and left in a wardrobe sets
why would they even mind their own dog's fur, that's... so stupid....
I don't know. And there is NO FUR that I see on the sheets anyway, I checked before tossing them to do laundry since, you know, if you toss fur in a washing machine then ALL you clean will have fur
and trust me. it's not like they found stuff used by others, I clean the sheets every time even if people stay just one night. And before every guest I change all towels, clean everything and do the floors + sanitary cleaning and all
It just felt disrespectful?
Like, you have a WARDROBE full of clean sheets but you had to scavenge in the one area where I told 'please leave that space alone it's my extra supplies' for the stuff I still had to open
it super was, especially since they went in your space for stuff not MEANT FOR them
I mean if they had issues with the sheeets they could have just... called me? I DID give them my number and all
oh well, double washing machine load I guess
(they also used a lot of towels for a single night. 4 large, 4 medium and 4 small ones. In two. I have no idea why)
but towels aren't a big deal. Like, I just wash them, fold them and it's all done. Sheets need ironing and all, which takes me a lot more time
all my (clean) cleaning rugs have fur on them. and aren't clean anymore.
i just finished the deep cleaning and wanted to do the mirrors but...
You should have charged them
Because at that point they broke your rules and forced you to buy something out of pocket. That’s on them and not you and they should compensate you
Unless you CAN prove things, airbnb doesn't protect you at all
this is why I take pics of every room before every guest
and of what I make them find in the fridge every time. it's the MINIMUM protection I can get after stuff has been stolen and broken before
Like, this is my set for this round. Minus the bathroom becuase nothing REALLY changed since last time
(the floor was still dirty because that's war RIGHT BEFORe washing it
but yeah you gotta document it all and place dates and such (my phone auto marks the dates on the file or smt IDK how it works)
OR you get nothing. I got stuff stolen and they were completely unhelpful.
and yes I clean everything beside the freezer every time someone leaves/comes
