So it's a Cobalt plate. And my dad is actually quite upset that it broke

So basically, he's upset that the murder plate broke

And he wants it thrown out because even if I put it back together, it won't have the same value

It's gonna be the holiday gift he doesn't want and didn't ask for

I just have to double check that working on the plate isn't toxic

It's sealed, but now that it's broken (5 large pieces) I should probably double check or at least get gloves so I can work on it
