oh right. i dropped indium bc i just Could Not keep up with bartender or generate enough excitement to do stuff with him/was having trouble with oc memories and shit as usual so i called it there woof

i love forge though i wish i had enough brains to give him more attention bc his cr with folks was genuinely very good... he liked them all a lot

scarlet meanwhile. a lot of stuff happened to scarlet and she got Very Drunk and dumped a lot of feelings on people and what has she learned from this??

to not do that. never ever reveal your feelings for people ever again do NOT love people especially do not assume anyone who cares about you loves you back !!!!!!!!!!!!

in actuality she did get a lot of clarification on various feelings things and where she stands for people she cares about which IS a good thing, objectively, because it does put a solid boundary on what is and isn't acceptable to Openly Want regardless of what she may actually want/desire/be interested in

unfortunately she is just gonna be a jilted lover about it for 24 hours and cry a little first. and then she'll be over it. she didn't get to have this as a teenager let her live

mostly kind of a joke though because the only person she was like. HURT about was aloe and it was explicitly because he didn't just say "i don't want you like that" to start with (he said the opposite. actually. but, with her lacking context...), which she mistakenly took as permission. she was wrong!! she's embarrassed about it. however she cares about

him like more than anything so she'll get over it soon because he does still love her. she loves him also but is like stuck in the zone of "am i doing love Wrong??? am i feeling things wrong" which is also his fault but NOT from bartender funny enough

identifying and categorizing different kinds of love has not really occurred to her yet. she's working on it

vincent was really funny because while she loves him it'ssssssss. different. she already understood where he stood wrt casual affairs before + now she has a better handle on it but unlike with aloe this situation veered that way entirely by accident

she was hurt that he seemed deeply uncomfortable emotionsharing with her more than anything else because she didn't actually EXPECT much from him emotionally to begin with, she just wanted to share HER feelings for him. which then led into him apologizing for saying the wrong thing, her phrasing her response wrong, him taking it a different way than intended

and she really didn't know how to address/correct that properly but she. tried?? he didn't bolt so maybe she did okay.

she does feel guilty about his jealousy issues though. like it's not her fault but she's certainly not helping (also aloe's fault)

ON THE FLIP SIDE TO ALL OF THIS she fr has like +++slink up with sun sign so that's good. she got a lot off her chest so a lot of the disconnect she was having has been... not solved, but eased

she still doesn't know how to deal with brocade telling her "it's fine your feelings are valid" after she basically went full table flip mode being mad everyone around her is getting married (she's not actually mad she's just Jealous and also really ashamed of herself for being so) bc its like. OKAY NOW WHAT. WHAT DO I DO

bonding with cash was good because she straight up thought he didn't care about her much (mostly from their eonia interactions pre-ss)

also solidified him as someone she can have physical contact with. which is sad to write down as such but a real issue she was having being unwilling to enter into any sun sign member's space without express invitation. they dont know her like that!!!!!!!

serge also. she loves him kind of. hes also accidentally put himself in a position of "i can manhandle this guy a little bit" by virtue of acting with cute aggression when she was wailing drunkenly into a beanbag chair

anyway SCARLET feels bad and hates everything and wishes she could nuke half of her conversations from orbit and thinks Love Is Over but overall things were pretty net positive

or at least opening UP to more positives

oh she did feel like she bonded with eriks a bit more. this ones important to her

rubs my face. something about the game rules is deeply confusing me but i dont really know how to word the issue i am having... weird mental block and confusion

knowing that characters know the sacrifice is temporary ends up feeling like not really a big deal i think...?? i think i'm struggling with how to deal with that vs a character who would normally care about this in a different situation i think but it's also not really like... physical safety or anything on the line either...??? maybe that doesnt make sense

i do worry about like. having Good Threads i guess also. what if i'm doing it wrong and i just don't know

or rather i think maybe the thing confusing me is i'm not actually sure what the stakes are

bc intro flavor text says "survival" but

if they know it's instead "lose thing you sacrificed for 5 days"...?? maybe i am misunderstanding that at base

If the characters will cooperate, maybe the angle is to think about what stuff could be interesting to play after the game? instead of like how will they wrangle each other to do the least harm to themselves.

(Probably why Floor wanted to give lots of fallout time now that I think of it)
