and i am being irrationally stressed about it. mostly cuz she is a senior cat so like... even stuff like this that is probably fine is scary

esp since she has barely eat/drank for two days

ive seen her nibbling so shes not completely sick fasting but im worried shes dehydrated

i might ask if they can give her fluids if they dont do it already

but i feel ill with that and not sleeping well the last few days for orher reasons too

maybe i should have called off but then id just be not sleeping at home instead lol

it has just been a stark reminder that shes a old lady and no matter how hard i work to keep her healthy i only have a few more years with her

which has got me feeling down

I get how you feel, my girl is 15. But all we can do is love them for whatever time we’re given. It’s hard to let go when the time comes, for sure.

update: chest infection with begining of pneumonia

she got some yucky antibioltics but everything else like heart, kidneys etc are great!

That’s great news, considering it could’ve been far worse!
