I feel kinda bad not giving it to him when he seems really eager to have more.
Plants are also booming which is good?
him and his current house. I was worried about the bubbles in the water but he REALLY enjoys sitting right under the little water current sio I'd feel bad doing anything different? It's also worth mentioning the water seems to create a microfilm whenever it's left stagnating for too long without breaking it and idk why
fish are always hungry lol
even if they're super fat
if he's healthy he should be always hungry
oh yay a mustard gas betta!
if you got a koi or marble i would have warned you they're prone to tumors
Oh, that's good to hear. Yeah, he seems to be doing just fine. And he does tend to follow me when I move around the room and YES- I LOVED HIS COLORS
he's totally fine, no worries
I actually wanted a samurai plakat, but shops here don't have them and I don't trust live shipping in my remote area. I moved around five shops before choosing him.
for future reference samurai/dragon plakat bettas often go blind
the shiny scales grow over their eyes
He's got a bit of a crooked spine (to the left) that I noticed after he was home for a few days, but beside that he looks healthy, curious and full of energy
Oh NO, I had no idea of that. i just love their patterns so much. D: but it's okay, the house is 'taken' for now and I don't plan to overload myself with animals when I already havea cat problem
as far as shipping fish i WILL say -- about half or more of my stock is from shipped stock
bettas though, like, even if you get the fancy line bred ones there are genetic issues for the super specific lines
(someone abandoned a momma cat in my courtyard so I've been desperately trying to find SOMEONE to take them in. I can't have SEVN cats)
MOMMA KITTY
but truly your fish looks lovely and i hope sunny is a happy anger fish
It's sad but I'm getting them covered
I am planning to neuter the mom when I can, she's still nursing so I don't want to take her away from her babies for two days :/
I just know I cannot afford *seven+ cats and I'm not a fool, so I'm trying to find them a place. I just don't feel comfortable just shooing her away because she's got ZERO hunting instinct and survival
She doesn't go out and hunt like my other three cats (I wish I had them indoors only but let's say it's not a possibility right now with the person I live with) she just sits in the distance all the time and approaches only when she sees food.
she's SO scared of pretty much everything? so I really don't know what to make of the situation, I just know I asked a friend for her trap cages again
cats aside, I THINK Sunny is being a happy anger fish. He seems very curious and he likes to uproot the plants that aren't well anchored
I'm waiting for a delivery for his 'hammock' leaves, they've just been so late in the shop I got him from
(and yes I got him plastic ones but it's because I'm still a bit hesitant about introducing live (dead) plant matter in a tank that's a bit small
Sorry, I'm probably rambling
unrelated but I'm glad you're sharing things with me. I had no idea of that issue with samurai ones and it's a good thing to know before getting a new pet (even if I'm not planning to unless I get another aquarium so it's in a distnat DISTANT future
