but also possibly genetic testing for cancers since there have been many cases of different cancers in my family

and found out it's likely NOT scalp psoriasis I've been dealing with for years. she looked and said it looks like sebbhoric (sp?) dermatitis which they treat differently so she gave my a script for a shampoo for it

which would explain why nothing I did cleared it up, just kinda controlled the itching. sometimes.

and since allergy meds were helping clear up with rash/eczema on my face, she decided to see if we can get my insurance to cover regular allergy meds for me

ah fungal scalp. yeah it's a different treatment

you put the shampoo on (2x a week unless your hair is REALLY resilient cause it's harsh), leave it on for 10-15 minutes, rinse out, condition well.

I rec putting it on and then putting a shower cap on. if your hair isn't mad about it and it's not working great after two weeks you can go 3x a week.

but like, if you have ever used like selsun blue? it's harsh like that

it's great because you can then shower without accidently rinsing it out or do your hair and tool sind then shower, etc

Yeeeeeep. In fact, Selsun Blue is probably a weaker version of something similar, since dandruff is often caused by this same fungus.

I've had good luck controlling that sort of dermatitis with antifungal cream, when it isn't under hair.
