like, I've wanted American Coke to use cane sugar for a long time now

I buy Mexican Coke at a premium sometimes as a special treat because the cane sugar tastes so much better than the corn syrup

and now to distract from the Epstein stuff, one of the things Trump is trying is saying he personally called Coca Cola and convinced them to change their recipe back to sugar

and a couple days later Coca Cola announced they will start selling the cane sugar coke in like a month

and like

do you have to ruin fucking Coke for me

because now I won't be able to 100% enjoy it

can we even get that much cane sugar in the US? I sincerely doubt hawaii can generate enough for us to use on the scale at which we drink coke

yay. more expensive coke. I don't mind moving away from High fructose corn syrup but I'm not looking forward to paying for it

Literally the whole reason US sodas have corn syrup in them instead of cane sugar is because we grow so much damn corn in this country that we don’t know what to do with it

it's not replacing it afaik, because if they did then other beverage companies would follow suit and the Midwest would be pissed.

but I won't lie I like the little treat that Mexicokes are. they're inexpensive (here at least) but just expensive enough to be a treat.

They often do 'passover coke' that is cane sugar so yeah Trump got a whole nothingburger and claimed it was heug again

I’m sure they were planning to do this anyway but regardless I won’t be able to enjoy a Coke now without thinking of Trump using it to deflect attention away from a bunch of rich sex traffickers (including himself)

I mostly drink water and have tried to quit soda entirely but I can’t quite kick the habit.

I drink soda like once a year.

When I am sick with stomach problems or something, cola helps, that's when I buy some... like once a year/two years.
