hi! just a heads up if you have a personal house in ffxiv.Demolition seems a bit wonky. If you haven't logged in and entered your personal house since the start of July, def go and enter your house.
I logged in tonight after a 2wk break and despite having been in my house since 7/10, got a demo notice when I stepped on my property.
In the past I've gotten email notifications when my house is on the demolition list, but I received no such email this time. I think the recent transition back to the Demolition schedule might've donked some things up.

i've heard there's like. a ludicrous number of plots open now from autodemo being restored and i wonder if some of it is subscription drops but some of it is people just straight up not realizing

YEAH I got simultaneous demo warnings for both my main and a dynamis alt, even though i have been in my house on my main MULTIPLE times more recently than my alt

re: sub drops i absolutely let my house get auto demo'd so i wouldn't feel compelled
but i suspect what happened is whenever people visited previously before it was halted, the timer didn't account for new entries in that period, and that's probably what's happening

Yeah, especially with WoW's new housing (is it out yet? idk), a weird mechanical flub that loses people houses - especially on DCs outside of Dynamis where it's more cutthroat - is just, woof.

I believe as long as you've been in the house within the demo windows (however arbitrary they seem to be at the moment :]]]];;; ), even if your sub has lapsed, you keep the house!
