Mind you, I've seen more Roger Moore Bond movies than I have for Lazenby, Dalton, or Brosnan (one each), but I have more DVDs for Moore since I got a four pack plus The Man With The Golden Gun.
The opening feels like something out of a Hitman game. (Though I'm guessing that's what the Hitman devs were going for)
Though the plane is all Bond.
I forgot that the plot kicks off with a clown being assassinated.
Maybe I haven't seen this movie.
I wonder when General Orlov is going to become part of this. (He was shown in a meeting earlier, and was an obvious warmonger who was selling the Fabrege Eggs)
Spoke too soon - he just showed up.
I think Orlov just smashed the real Fabrege egg.
While trying to avoid attention, Bond swings through the trees and does a full Tarzan yell. Sounds right for someone who constantly uses his own name rather than a pseudonym.
Surprised that Magda seems like she'll survive this movie, all things considered. (seeing as she's working with the villains, slept with Bond, and isn't the main Bond girl)
A bit surprised that Octopussy and her troupe are playing the main role in the climax while Bond doesn't seem to be involved. (At least not yet)
Bond coming in on a Union Jack hot air balloon is hilariously over-the-top.
I do not envy the stunt performers who had to cling to the plane for those long shots. (Unless it was a dummy)
Roger Moore's reaction at the end (after Bond is told "I wish you weren't in such a weakened condition") was great - it got a chuckle out of me, and had a sort of cheeky charm to it.
