now that July is over I can have some time to chill hopefully

the weather is nice, but the air quality is pretty bad, so probably won't be going out to do much today... I need to get some housework done, anyhow, which always takes more time than I think it will

got up way too early, but I felt like I couldn't get back to sleep so I figured I'd try to get some things done... then I fell asleep in front of my laptop for awhile...

tomorrow I'm going on a road trip I'm not really prepared for, I imagine we'll leave early so I better get ready for it today

I was sort of volunteered to help drive my sister to Michigan, so me and my mom are driving there with her

trying to figure out what kidney support diet to get Hal, since he's not crazy about the one he's on right now and I want him to eat more

there are several options, I'm not sure what he'd like the best... I could try Royal Canin since he likes to steal Butch's novel protein food, but idk... I'm not really thrilled with their ingredients for the renal diets. they seem subpar.

I contacted one company to give me the phos levels so I guess I'll wait to order something until they get back to me

ok I ordered a few cans of some food instead of a full case... see how Hal likes it. if he still doesn't eat much then I'll have to try something else

oof guess I should have hurried and bought the Pikachu burger keychain from the Pokémon Center, cuz it is pretty darn cute and now it's sold out

I also want the ketchup acrylic keychain from the promo, but it's Japanese exclusive and going for $40+ on eBay so I guess I won't get it... I kinda don't want to spend that much on a keychain

well good news is Hal likes the new food I got him. he ate more of it compared to the old food, so I guess I'll keep getting it for him

I contacted the vet to ask if Caboose should also be on the kidney diet, as they didn't get back to me concerning her bloodwork when I took her in a few months ago... so idk

if I have to have three cats on a veterinary diet it's going to be super expensive...

I got some kibble that's suitable for cats with kidney disease so I can add it to canned food, at least, to make the wet food last longer

and I found a supplement that I want to try which is recommended by vets for cats with kidney/GI problems... see if Hal responds well to it since he seems to have some GI stuff going on along with the kidney issue

okay, well, Hal at one can of the food, but then decided he didn't really want to eat any more than that, so...

I'll have to get him another variety... good thing I didn't order a whole case of the food he apparently didn't like

I know I'm going to have to nap today... I didn't get to sleep until 4 am last night

hm I'm worried about Butch, seems he's lost some weight and he might be exhibiting signs his diabetes is no longer in remission...

I'm going to try to test his blood this afternoon, see how that goes

I’m still going to take him to the vet to get checked up since he needs a wellness check anyway

ok I made an appointment request for early Sept. I don't know if he needs any shots or not, but it's been about a year since he had bloodwork done.

I have a strong desire to get the big Snom and sleeping Sprigatito plush from the Pokémon Center, but maybe I should use my extra cash to preorder Pokémon Z-A so I'll have that squared away. Plus I get the bonus pin

now I'm reminded I never finished Pokémon Legends Arceus... I should do that...

I just didn't like it that the Pokémon can come after you and hunt you down, it freaked me out

I really don't know if I'll even like the battle mechanics of Z-A or not... I like the traditional Pokémon battles
