Also I spent twenty minutes creating a template that will auto-fill in a bunch of things for me, including checking whether something is a network, log, or inbox tag based on the URL I throw at it.

I already had a template that could auto-fill in a bunch of stuff, but ChatGPT bumped it to that next level. I'd have been searching forever to figure out how to do the URL thing.

I’m stuck on the ghosts here lol — I’ve mostly figured out the other part (although you’re right, I ALSO do not know how to make the date the external link and not a note link, and that’s really useful) from just using Dataview a lot, — but the ghosts are so cute??

Templates are SO useful. I’m currently using Airtable for threads and Obsidian for everything else RP related, but if I could organize a little more automatedly like this I’d probably do it all in Obsidian
