Day Three of SkunkStink. The farm traps caught one and the landlord is out of town and there is NO WAY we know how to deal with the body. So it's out there. Stinking. A lot. Farm life is sometimes NOT idyllic.

StereoNacht: If this was on public land, yes - but not on a private farm. Landlord will take care of it tomorrow.

luna_y_gatos: Yesterday was much better. The passage of time meant the passing of stink, too.

Every now and then, a skunk gets squished on the road around here. Buzzards take care of it eventually. Did have a case where the stepcousin's ex's Bassets spooked one in our back yard, and the room AC pulled it right in. :-&

Viksbelle: Night time is the worst! We've been keeping all windows open all night and closing them when the day starts to warm. This house holds onto that cold air all day and we don't have to use any pricey energy. But the skunk made that plan impossible.

BUT! Landlord came by an hour ago and texted me "your new pet has been removed"

I got to have open windows for a couple days, then it heat-domed again.

Yeah, we haven't opened the windows in a while now. The temperatures over night just aren't low enough to help. This MAY be the first year I look forward to Fall.
