eheheh the ESO golden endeavor this month is for crafting... I knocked out nearly half of it in an hour, I have multiple high-level crafters so it was easy

a few of the tasks might take a little longer but I might finish it in a week or less, that'd be nice

I know I'm being a basic white girl with this but... Bath & Body Works has a scent in their Halloween line that's a vanilla coke float and it's my new favorite thing

I thought their rocket pop scent they released for the 4th was also really good, but this one's even better... dessert scents that aren't a fake sugar assault on the senses is so rare from them

The Survival Game That Changed Meohhh this is such a good video about Vintage Story, it's 20 minutes but it explains the game very well

that part about how the game doesn't give you anything, you have to make everything by hand is SO important for the cozy vibes of Vintage Story.... it's unintentionally so, don't get me wrong

the devs did not set out to do that but it's there anyway because of the amount of thoughtfulness that you have to put in

it's been really hot here this summer (seems like unusually so) but the occasional rain cuts through the heat very nicely. the monsoon season here is apparently real and not just something they tell tourists, but it hasn't really hit yet even though it should've started like mid July

lmfao there's a single American cross stitch magazine and like... the quality is so inconsistent

most of the magazine will be simple designs like this

and then there are MAYBE two of higher quality (and I barely count the mountain portrait one here)

the mushroom one is legit a great pattern, everything else in this magazine... not so much

and I don't mind the historical esque ones being more on the simple side, but when it's nearly everything else in the issue being that simple too.... yikes

(and to be fair the mushroom pattern isn't difficult it just actually has good shading and artistry here, the mountain one is also all full stitches so it's fairly easy too)

I wouldn't be so elitist about it if the UK magazines weren't both leagues better lol

jesus CHRIST, Zinio gave me a jumpscare trying to auto-renew me for a magazine that was $80 (!!) a year. luckily they immediately refunded it when I complained, idk if they're using a bot or just have people working on the weekends

$80 a year for a digital magazine is fucking insane... this is why I only buy these magazines during sales
