I have a weird ability to accurately predict the plots of bad media by joking about the dumbest thing that could happen and its become a weird litmus test of if something is going to be bad. If it happens once it will inevitably happen again
I recently finished reading a book where my first sign of it was joking that the villain felt like a high school theatre kid with a grudge... and that was legitimately the explanation.
I don't have an issue with predictability as long as its well executed but when the joke is the answer...
