Okay, now I really am back. The PC is up and stable and the new watercooler a friend sent me (thank you!) is working. It definitely was the old fan that wasn't working.
I have a game running and the temps are in the 30s-40s instead of the 90s.

Plus numerous half hour breaks to watch things when I got frustrated.
