tldr: in response to his magic being nerfed, he's gonna try to absorb Katalyth to juice up his magic so he can do the big spells again.
Loving this
Gale and Jayce chatting about exactly this
I need to figure out something cool to DO with this now
Gale rolling up with ten arms, four hundred teeth, and whatever other mutations. His cr like "whatcha got there" and he's like "... a smoothie"
I mean..... As cool as "explode something" might be, are there any super strong spells that could track a person down or that kind of thing? Try to find georges.
But if exploding things is the only option: come do some earth movin under kelesis.
OH MAN. Eli would absolutely do this as well
tell him of your plans, gale ~
Mel and Pom gotta sit on him
Rowan will sit on him too
Harley will be on team "set him free"
icqt: Technically dnd has scrying, but I try to stick to just the spells available in bg3
yeah, sensible! bg is not for me ("play any way you like!" how about I go and play something else before I have an anxiety attack) so I don't know what's in there
LOL that's fair. It's still a linear story, not open world or anything, it's more like "Here are orphans! Would you like to help them or murder them?"
BG3 is technically in the same setting as DnD, so theoretically ALL the DnD spells exist? But also that is a Lot to even think about. And I do not have many brains
Also who needs that many spells when you have fireball and chain lightning
aren't there like a bajillion side quests and stuff? though looking at it a little it might be more okay for me than I'd been thinking since I thought from how I saw some people talk that you had to do character creation stuff
There are but you don't HAVE to do a lot of them. The maps are big, but you can see orphans or whatever and just... not click on them.
ah, no, but you see, that is not a choice I am capable of making. I see orphans and I must click on them.
There is character creation, but you can also play AS any of the six main companions (like Gale for example) and just get right into the game
Same, my first playthrough took ~200 hours because I found EVERYTHING I COULD.
YEAH AND LIKE okay, I'm aware people love bg3, but I am Tired. if I'm gonna play 200 hours on a game these days it's going to be a roguelite that makes my brain go brrrrrr. or zelda. so I shall continue to enjoy gale with only vague awareness of the game and setting (I have played a little dnd but it's only a little)
Haha that is FAIR. I've only fully completed one playthrough because of this.
I am laughing though, we've both got guys who would be pretty solid house husbands if not for their urge to do patently stupid things because "it's fine, I know what I'm doing and have to find out" reasons
