i don't know, the recent GP event sounded fun, but yeah, it basically boils down to a popularity contest and .. ugh ..

idk, it's something I've seen a lot over the recent events: I tag out a bunch, or at least try, but I hardly ever get any tags myself

makes me ownder, is Reno just not that interesting?

Is it me, are people not happy with my writing? Am I boring? Too slow at this point?

It sucks to see other posts with tons of comments while all you get is crickets

i'd take a hiatus, but i'm already feeling behind, and then I'd be out of the loop for real, so .. nah

I feel this... a lot of times I have to take the network stuff as like, both a case of network things being kind of finicky for whether people want to play into it or not, and how much is people waiting on for the full event and such

audiophilic: yeah fair. I mean, i like the low stakes events to make CR, that's also why I try and tag out, but ... yeah. idk, it's frustrating to get little or nothing back most of the time, like ... tell me what I need to improve ..?

a lot of the time there's really nothing to improve, I find! most of it just comes down to people have limited steam to tag with and, especially with newcomers, tend to either lean into those or their current cr

that said, I fully understand because I war with that feeling a lot too sobs

I know this struggle very well. Most my games I only get a trickle of tags and it can be very discouraging. I try to shift my perspective. Instead of focusing on the fact that I don't get much interest, I try to see each tag as one more than I expected and treat it as a nice surprise.

It may just be a trickle but you may still find some gems in that small flow

I admit it's not always easy though, especially when you consistently don't get a lot

yeah, i mean, i got a core group of people that i plot and tag with and can count on most of the time, but I try to reach out to people too, by tagging their TLs or asking to plot stuff, but after being dropped or turned down several times, I also don't wanna ask any more, tbh
But yeah, I am happy about every tag I'm getting, and I treasure them

for sure!! it's usually a good sign to just focus on your core group until you're feeling more able to try again. I don't think there's anything wrong with that

I feel this, a lot, and I have seen it over the years, and it really boils down to mainly chance, right place, right time, right atmosphere. I do not think either you as a rper/writer, or Reno as a character are the issue. at least, I enjoy rping with you, but I am trying to come back from my own struggling.

Yeah I never expect a lot of tags in these situations. In an attempt to put myself out there more I tried to only have Loki bid on people he didn’t know. We’ll see if it works.
