unlike in witch hat where they keep it on the down low so that ppl don't try to explode the world or some shit

but in an opposite way to witch hat witches 'thinking', its actually the wizards who get horribly mistreated a lot of the time, and many of the conflicts are borne from that
if that makes sense.
cain himself was kicked out from his job and he was forced to pretend he was human by his mother who didn't want anyone to know he was a magic user
it feels a bit like the opposite sides of a coin in terms of how they handle magic
like 'magic is available all but is restricted from 'the masses' for 'their own wellbeing' (we get to control its use)', and 'magic is only available to a few, but marks them as 'different' and subject to fear and aversion'

yea it's real neat! I like wha's take on it because it's so different from what you'd usually expect out of a world with magic and it's a neat contrast between something like mahoyaku's system
and that also tells me i should be Concerned about revelations later on in witch hat

(i can see why the manga-ka recommended it, it does share a lot of similar themes to her story! which i was happy 2 see even if there are .5 english fans. also she seems cool/i love her art)

so it also makes it a bit. obvious. about some real life comparisons, regardless if it was THAT specific issue
