thinking about the key facets of his personality... him and dark both put up airs but for opposite outcomes. dark is sharp tongued to try to distance himself from others, while light is easygoing and good-humored to get himself liked

crushes them both in my fist

under the surface he's more bitter, feeling spurned by the destiny he was supposedly born to achieve that his brother took from him, and while he can easily do well just traveling as a healer of significant skill that isn't what he was SUPPOSED to have

him and dark both rejected typical childhoods in favor of chasing something far larger than either of them; light is just much better at pretending to be normal and well-adjusted

but really he dislikes people more than he likes them
