I noticed him because of a sluggish bee near my car. I thought: huh, must be warming up if the hive is starting to get active again this year.

Looked towards where I know the hive is and - oh, hello possum with its hand down the hole.

It went up a branch and stared at me for a moment before it decided I was chill and it started to enjoy its treat.

they stole all the straw I used to mulch my pots with and made a nest, stupid me was like 'oh, somehow the wind managed to suck all of this under here' and was reaching an entire rake and MY WHOLE ARM under there trying to get it out
