i hated laundry as a child, which i had to do starting around 10 yrs old cos we lived in an apt without washer & dryer

but now as an adult, i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it, i insist on doing it for my entire household of 2 LOL

i went to the laundromat, the most awk part is folding laundry in front of strangers

I love/hate laundry. The machine does all the washing . But I would rather spend my time differently then sorting and folding. Been doing it for almost 40 years now. Mom did it, and after she died we spit the washing between my father and me.

if it was just putting stuff in the machine and letting it run it would not be half bad. but having to go into the basement laundry room and stay there for 2 hours so i can make sure nobody does shit is booooooooring lol

Way to go! Doing laundry is one of the adulting things we don't really look forward to doing every damn week. It is harder because my folks are not into machine washing. Collecting them after drying, & folding them are really boring tasks. I feel ya. You're not alone in the struggle.

Only a few times have I had issues with people removing my stuff in the 19/20 years I have done it myself. Do you have a laundromat that could do it for you?

can you set an alarm and get there maybe 10 min early before laundry is ready? or are people actually stopping the machine mid-wash to steal wet unwashed clothes o.O

Also since we have to pay for the coins to use for the machines some people stop it mid-wash, pull our your clothing and put theirs in

yeah I sat with it, had my phone with me and was on voice with friends, that was entertaining at least
