I was tempted to do a drinking game (take a drink every time there's an obvious 3D shot), but I'm watching the movie on my own and I don't drink very often, so I figure there wouldn't be much of a point.
If you do that, you're gonna
die
Just in Jaws 3-D
Haha yeah, that was also a concern.
This 3D fish head effect lingers WAY too long haha.
I laughed at the shark destroying the inflatable raft. I'll say one thing about this shark - it's thorough!
The obvious 3D shots have definitely ramped up since the shark was put into captivity.
We now interrupt this Sea World commercial for a shark attack.
Also, one parkgoer clearly has warped priorities - a 35 foot long shark is attacking while they're underwater, the glass tunnel that they're walking through is collapsing and flooding, and as the door seals shut behind him, he yells out "I need my wallet!"
This movie is only about an hour and a half long, but it feels much longer.
The shot of the shark's Jaws flying towards the camera before inexplicably freezing in place is laughably bad.
They're more concerned about the dolphins than their coworkers haha.
I didn't mean to capitalize jaws a few comments ago, but I'm keeping it as-is.
That got laughably bad towards the end. Sean Brody had some good moments, and I feel like the movie took a nose dive once he left. I'm looking forward to seeing how bad Jaws 4 is whenever I watch that.
I'll probably have less to say about Friday the 13th 3 since I watched it last October.
I'm glad that other horror movies didn't carry on with Friday the 13th's trend of, at least in the first two sequels, doing an extended recap of the previous entry at the start of the movie.
They really go out of their way to avoid showing Jason's face in this opening. Understandable since he looks quite different and is played by a different actor, though I'm guessing their intent was to save his face reveal for the movie's climax. (And Chris's flashback)
I find it funny that both of these movies have a very similar shot in them. (A character firing a speargun at the screen while standing near the water - Mike Brody shooting the shark and Jason shooting one of his victims)
