I mean it's fine. I had a great excuse to go back to ignoring her as she went on and on about her plants.

Eventually heard her go: oh, that's right. You can't hear me.

....then she turned to talk to the other lady next to her about her flowers

lmao

This also happened with the same lady.

She was talking at me about a work issue I already gave her a solution to. Except she wasn't listening.

"Hey, I have to go to a meeting now. Please try 'blah' and if that doesn't work I'll look at it when I get back."

She said alright and I walked off with my computer

Come back an hour later and she gasps and goes: there you are! We had no idea where you went!

The other girl just sort of went: uh, she was in a meeting????? As I also went: I was in a meeting.

Old lady: oh, well, why didn't you tell us.

Also love her use of 'us' when it was just her not listening

I think some is a memory issue, but I know a lot is a active listening issue

She hadn't tried my solution yet. She either forgot or more likely wasn't listening to it before I left.

It did work. It fixed the problem.

She needs to retire..
