Well. The well isn't well. The indoor holding tank is now replaced, but pressure isn't building. We need to muddle through to Monday when a Well Person will well and truly replace the pump.

ah, the not so fond memories of getting up at all hours of the night to prime the pump before the points could burn out.
Viksbelle: Yuck. What we're doing is turning it off at the breaker box, and just turning it on when we need water, which is coming in at 1/3 strength.
I hope that all will end well!
StereoNacht: we just have to get through tomorrow. a well person will come out Monday and probably replace that pump. hopefully our plantings around the well head won't be decimated in the process, but we shall see.
