I wear a brace on my arm at night for some nerve issues I have. It's about the size of my forearm. It fell off last night and I couldn't find it because Berna was sleeping on top of it.
It's a tube style brace to go over my elbow to keep me from bending it while I sleep. Occasionally I don't do it up tight enough and it slips off in the night.
Usually, when I wake up, it's next to me somewhere or on the floor.
But when I tried to find it last night in the middle of the night I couldn't find it anywhere. Assumed it was lost in the blankets, gave up, and went back to bed.
As it's not the end of the world if I don't have it on every night.
Found it this morning when Berna got up to stretch before flopping back on top of it.

Its true. I do, because it's awkward to try to pet her with an arm that can't bend
