[Books] One of these days I will find someone who has read the Wearing the Cape series by Marion G. Harmon. I just really want someone who can understand my flailing.
Especially about Kitsune.
It's a superhero series that actually addresses a lot of tropes and doesn't just handwavy excuses. Like going into costume designs that includes fake muscles to help with the image branding and separate identities.

I met the author at the book festival years ago and got the first one. It's one where the world changed and suddenly superpowers happen.
I have been seriously tempted by the role-playing game of it even though I doubt I would have a chance to play it.

I've read it, but the one right before Ronin Games is where I cut out
When they're good, they're good, but sometimes it's just an overwhelming amount of detail and I found myself having to go back a few pages because something in there ended up being important.
I enjoyed them quite a bit, though.
