The ring prompt is a cute idea, but I don't really see Reno and Tseng doing that, it's probably something that Linn and Tseng would do, so .. no chance for Reno to get to tinkering

the smoke and silence one sounds awesome, ngl, and i would love to write that, but with Reno and Rude slowly sorting things out, there's not really anyone that Reno misses??

idk, it's a bit annoying that it's all written around "be with your dominant" and "someone you miss" in this case, cause the prompts themselves are pretty cool :/

I know with orientation people are usually paired randomly, so he could do it with any dominant (and I know people often do "whoops there was a clerical error and now two subs are paired" too)

For the smoke... Does Reno have any family or childhood friends he might not've thought about in years?

There is also the optional awkwardness of all three of them (or even just Linn and Reno?) doing it together

also regarding missing anyone: the Turks don't really have any outside connections, at least that's what most people assume
in my hc Reno is an orphan who survived on the streets alone until he got picked up by shinra, so no family whatsoever to speak of, and with Rude and Tseng here, that's basically all the "family" and important people he needs

The TDMs tend to get pretty high post counts - some are in the 3000 comment range - so I suspect it's to prevent the TDM from going into Captcha territory.

Especially in a game that writes new TDM prompts every time, instead of just reposting a generic TDM every couple months.

Ohhhh yeah that's one of Dupe's weird things...! If I recall correctly it wasn't a "rule" when the game first kicked off but Dupe had a really high interest in the beginning so they limited it to new apps and asked existing PCs not to top-level,

yeah, okay fair .. though i don't think the TDMs had that much traffic since i joined, and GP also has new TDMs every other month
But I'll know for the future, lol

I don't know if they ever completely maxed out, like Fibbers have done in the past, but definitely to keep it getting to captcha territory like Chance says.

I think it's assumed to be a rolling event over the two months

Like, Orientation doesn't happen the same day for everyone, but you have to go at some point during that time frame.
