my sweet girl
noooo
but i hope that it stops any spread and further complications
First we need to come up with $6000 to pay for the surgery
if they're keeping her leg they should pay you for it T_T
Poor sweet baby, I'm so sorry.
I added a gofundme link to the top plurk
I know money is tight all around right now so like no judgement on anyone who can't help
but I figure it doesn't hurt to pass around the hat
She was a racer in Tijuana for the first four years of her life, and they didn't take great care of her
When we went to "retirement day" which was organized by Fast Friends to get greyhounds that can't race anymore adopted instead of put down, we were immediately drawn to her
she was so eager to receive love an affection but also seemed confused by it
when we first brought her home she would growl when we hugged her because she didn't know what it was
but once she understand she became so enthusiastically affectionate
she will come up to you and rub the side of her face on you like a big cat
she can always tell when someone is feeling down and will gravitate toward that person to give them love
she has been a sweet "big sister" to our cats, who adore her
she doesn't deserve to be in pain
and also the bone cancer will probably kill her if we don't make sure it doesn't get a chance to spread
replurked. I hope the internet can help, it's so sad when the pets get I'll
I appreciate it
My thanks to everyone who has donated so far.
thankfully I just got paid today, so I could donate
I have a rescue dog of my own so Xena's story hits my heart
i have a rescue greyhound with 5 kinds of cancer rn but i gave what i could cuz the aus to usa conversion is shit
replurked also!! best of luck to your baby, my girl is essentially a tripod too and she's not a candidate for amputation but she gets along well on three legs
Just giving this Plurk a bump.
