6 - firm boundaries ALWAYS. You should never capitulate to appease the narcissist, that will not help them and it will hurt you; but as we are seeing with Trump it even hurts OTHERS because the narcissist then expects it more and more and it is never fucking enough

There are many times I keep thinking "should I have done x? Could Y have helped?" even though it was 30+ years ago and/or re: the making of a narcissist etc. and disentangling them

(also a reminder that all things are spectra, especially psychological diagnoses, and this is about very highly pathological narcissists who've leaned into the narcissism and let it dominate their way of relating to other people in an extremely harmful way, not an "open season on anyone with some narcissistic traits" thing)
