I didn't say that, but I so wanted to.
Instead I shall say it on plurk while trying to think of a different way to run a report to show an invoice someone SWEARS they sent us and has no proof except they said so doesn't exist still.
I've even run a report to show we did not receive any emails from the person who swears they sent it in a week before and after they claimed to have sent it in. I have other things they've sent in, but not this one.

that sounds frustrating
It is incredibly frustrating trying to provide proof of a negative.
But I also get why she's pushing to get all the proof possible as it's someone one step down from the CEO insisting this is our fault in some way.

We sent enough proof of it not existing that they are going back to our supplier to ask for another copy of the invoice.
