■ 葉慈，〈她的勝利〉

我遵從龍的旨意，直到妳出現
因為我曾以為愛情是逢場作戲
或是已成定局的遊戲
丟下手帕就隨之而來
那些片刻翱翔的行為最好
賦予風趣便成為天籟

然後妳來到龍的領域
我嘲笑發狂，妳卻主宰一切
斬斷枷鎖，放我的腳踝自由
彷彿聖喬治或異教的柏修斯
而今我們驚訝地凝視大海
奇特的怪鳥朝著我們尖叫

I did the dragon's will until you came
Because I had fancied love a casual
Improvisation, or a settled game
That followed if I let the kerchief fall:
Those deeds were best that gave the minute wings

風知道的事這幾天在讀歷史羅曼史小說《風知道的事》（What the Wind Knows），目前為止很喜歡，作者在每章開頭還會摘錄愛爾蘭詩人葉慈的詩！今天讀到噗首這句，立刻想到自己在《龍的心弦》描寫的幾個故事，決定找出整首詩記錄下來，尤其是第一句

之後還想多讀幾首葉慈的詩！〈他祈求錦繡天衣〉（He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven）和〈當妳年老時〉（When You Are Old）一直是心中的浪漫經典。因為Loreena McKennitt的演唱，也喜歡〈失竊的孩子〉（The Stolen Child）。

另外，雖然沒有讀過〈拜利和艾琳〉（Baile and Aillinn），但《風知道的事》男女主角接續彼此引述詩句的橋段實在讓我心動不已，對葉慈這首詩也很感興趣
