lemongrass: I read that their similarities are due to convergent evolution rather than diverging from a common ancestor. And convergent evolution makes me believe (even though it’s highly unlikely that we will ever find out due to the vastness of interstellar space), that there’s a high probability of humanoids elsewhere in our galaxy.
