My boss pays me $40k a year and gives me the crappiest health coverage she can legally get away with without having to pay the fine for not offering health insurance to employees.
For a full time job that requires a college degree and has a high injury rate (I’ve broken an elbow, dislocated both knees, suffered two concussions, and countless other smaller injuries in the 19 years I’ve worked for her)
To clarifying I’m NOT saying teachers shouldn’t be paid better than ICE, I’m just saying it is a slap in the face for someone who pays her employs badly to sit atop this particular high horse
