yeah basically I've completely scrubbed the Ishikari Plains and Yotei Grasslands at this point, I've done a little bit of the Tokichi Range but not a lot, and I just stopped for the night having entered the Nayoro Wilds

scorch bombs in this game are SO good

They're nasty if they catch you off guard but pretty funny if you see them in advance

Important lessons about fortcraft this game has taught me:

- Don't let tall grass or other obstacles someone can hide in grow near your fort

- Make sure there are no holes in your walls

That second one, especially, feels like the obvious one, but Saito's raiders fail it SO many times

clearing foliage and illegal constructions away from fort walls was a pretty common 'uh oh a war started near us' activity back in the day

so yeah, it was important but also yeah, people did tend to get lazy about it if they didn't think they were in any imminent danger

Saito's raiders and Clan Matsumae are actively attacking each other

they really should get their shit together

Got to The Oni

I got to that point where I'm not tilted out of anger so much as just mental overload

i like to give myself a new themed fit for every story moment

so i had a kill the oni fit

If you have a mask on then when he throws ypu out the window it comes off and lands on the ground between you

And then after he takes his mask off Atsu very deliberately steps on hers

During the cutscene

Which I can’t imagine would have happened if I wasn’t wearing one

oh there is a different version of that without the mask

which is that he throws his mask to the ground and atsu steps on his
