is listening to an interview with Pete Buttgieg and his comment about expectations. The theory that 'let republicans mess it up and dems will come back into power' is wrong, the repubs are better at apportioning blame than they are at messing things up. I tend to agree that assuming anything is dangerous AF
If the establishment Dems think that trashing the economy, pissing people off will get Dems voted in, that's lazy. The GOP will have weapons, they'll have both sides. One answer: "It didn't work because we didn't do it ENOUGH, we need MORE". Classic cope. They will never admit failure, it'll be blamed that the Dems obstructed the action. Action is what wins.
