officially our shift start at time X yet we're expected to be there one hour early

AND there are TWO time keeping machines. TWO. One with the real time, one with the clock forward so you CANNOT arrive 'just in time', you have to arrive early

if you aren't in time for the first clock, you are decked 30 minutes EVEN if yo arrive in time for the shift

....that is illegal

but like a LOT of people liek me work the same amount of hours (I'm looking at my two favorite day shift girlies) and make only 1200.
