Aak is definitely fun as any assignment and has the widest range of flexibility... being an Alpha might up some more of his confident/cockiness and further allow him to press down on people he views as beneath him while being an Omega means he had a lot more to, uh, defend when he was on his own.

He's definitely involved in a lot of suppressant/state altering drugs related to the process where like... tbh just having him as a non-participant party to someone else's sordid drama would be fun. He's your friendly back-alley suppressant guy who will listen to your complicated feelings about Him/Her so long as he gets a blood draw.

I think, despite his general anti-establishment leans, he'd be a bit more... if not confused then doubting of nonstandard pairs like... expecting them to end up broken up eventually by biological imperative. I don't think he could endure the constant headbutting of being in an A/A but O/O or B/* he would end up in even if he was sure it'd fail.

also god the mood swings of being pro-breeding due to hormones and then immediately after "ok [you/I] gotta take these pills byeeee"

If he is a Beta he's absolutely taunting Alphas and Omegas for all their weird business... the price you gotta pay for society, huh?

Clara's past and history mean she's Omega-coded... I generally favor an omegaverse interpretation that's lighter on Omegas because a complete lack of autonomy is scary (too scary) but one could view Clara's past being raised by kindred as a very strict management of possible Omega individuals.

Alternatively she was still just stolen as a baby for blood reasons and then the benefit of x% of those babies ending up being valuable Omega bargaining chips.

Clara in her current canon state would despise her Omega status, this woman is MEDICATING to make sure she doesn't get told to do anything by an Alpha because it itches against her issues with autonomy so badly.

Some part of her does still want "the dream" of a picture-perfect Alpha-Omega union but that image has also been so horribly tainted by her past that it makes her sick and she would have difficulty accepting even her most sincere feelings for an Alpha because of it.

So, she would be more inclined to pursue relationships with Beta or other Omegas... llllikely a Beta if she could choose (haha Clara choosing romantic feelings) since she knows what her pull towards "normal" exists as an Omega and might struggle to also see it in her partner. If she did end up with another Omega though she would be fiercely protective.

(It is funny that, since she was subject to much more direct coercion, Clara doesn't have huge compunctions against eye contact- the usual medium for kindred using the dominance discipline)

(has this gotten her in trouble with charlie, yes, but she's usually good at placating him with little things before it gets to there)

anyways I assume the whole kindred thing would still block off children as a future option for her and she needs a partner who is okay with that.............. otherwise, uh, natural birth control, woo!

also sorry but her nesting habits absolutely involve bringing things like animal bones in she cannot stop being a lil goth... neatly-organized blankets, her favorite occult tomes, unexplained bones

Kurama is a weird one because... well, uh, where do you put a god on the scale. I'm sure a god could still be affected (because the kink) but it's also funny to imagine like "didn't you do this to us?!"

I think there could be some good scenes in basically treating Azuma's gods like ascended betas and so Kurama's just doing his best when he enters a relationship with a person who's Alpha or Omega... kind of a fun twist on any relationship in which it's "i don't get your weird sexual stuff but ok" relationships.

or, alternatively, Kurama reading so much that he's just determined to fill in the role his partner "needs" even if he's not experiencing it himself

If he is actually affected then he's also in a position where anything is fun. He would definitely want to be the reassuring Alpha figure (while also asserting some Alphas are brutes with their heads on backwards) but considering he's also got a, uh, "nurturing" nature Omega also works.

(nurturing is the funniest line, it's from the protag wondering why kurama's not flustered holding their hand, like... what was it supposed to mean, is it that he's motherly)

absolutely a fussy and fighty omega, the classic kind, like mom used to make, where it's all insults and flailing until it's ero..............

joke that only kai knows kurama is an omega because otherwise he's in his shrine so much people can't tell that he's gone through a nesting phase

And I like to imagine that as an Omega OR Alpha Kurama takes a lot of pride in maintaining the nest of his partner... because... bird. Really, though, he gets a lot of satisfaction as an Alpha knowing he's properly tending for his loved one.

He could probably do A/A just, uh, never acknowledging it as an actual romantic relationship. I imagine if he were with a Beta partner he would worry about being... overwhelming... during his heat/rut period. He doesn't want them to think any less of them if he's driven by instinct!

Oh, right, and Kurama hella would want kids so with the extra incentive of omegaverse someone in the couple has gotta put their foot down or it might Keep Happening. I think he's smart enough to not just. rush down too many.
