Jedao is going to be flipping between two versions

1) gun!pet!Jedao, who for various reasons gave in and decided to give up caring about a world that didn't care about him, and is a pampered, deadly, dolled-up drop-dead gorgeous immortal attack dog that can give people brain aneurysms at will

2) a Jedao that tried earlier to stand up to Kujen and didn't make some of the mistakes Jedao blames him for....and who is almost identical to canon Jedao and won't figure out that he's NOT the normal version until afterward. because in fact even if he had not fired in some of those battles, he would simply have been relieved of command earlier

the same people would have died

and he would have figured out he needed to play along for a while to take kujen down

Gun!Jedao is not like, actively homicidal and he doesn't have regular Jedao's deal so he can't throw people around like dolls without intense pain, but he's very creepy in his whole, charming hedonistic moral void situation

will hit on so many dudes probably

Kahl I think may be unaffected he's driven to be what he is and do what he has done and he regrets nothing

and the same applies to the gods who've affected him most

so he may just be navigating the chaos a bit

if there's a moment when John is disrupted he may try to pounce on Ashton

and ends up on a crazy manhunt and [TW and also spoilers] on like, live helicopter chase news instead of on stage

so like. it WAS a good plan. but also she was always up against a very formidable adversary and didn't like.....waste an easy win shot

Hakkai has to meet Gun!Jedao while he's his normal self (though I suspect it's going to be the other version that gives Jedao more to think about afterwards....)

FYI! Murder chicken Vash is going to try and get into the engine room to destroy the ship. He obviously doesn't have a key, but he's got some good sharp blades to cut through the door, which I assume will land him in engine room jail.

I think even with sharp knives it'd be hard to get through the door, unless they're like MagicLaserKnives, but he could definitely stab Jedao on his way out and try to shove in past him and then end up in engine room jail

tbh Jedao would be inclined to leave him in there or shove him in zero after getting a gauge on how homicidal he is

Canonically these can cut through buildings, so I was thinking that they might get through the door with some effort, and then as soon as one gets past that barrier, poof, he's in engine room jail. But he could fail to cut through the door and attack Jedao too, I'm good with that route!

And yes, either leave him in jail or drop him in Zero, I'm planning this to be forward dated for near the end of the flood to get him contained, so when the flood lifts he's locked up somewhere.
