anything else is like. no i vastly prefer framerate stability to graphical fidelity

I did for FFXVI at first because the higher image quality made all the motion blur more tolerable. Then they patched in the option to disable the motion blur and I stopped.

I don't wear my glasses when gaming usually and maybe it's because I don't have perfect vision but I don't honestly notice much difference visually between quality and performance mode, so I've never bothered with quality

my two cents is that I've never owned a tv or monitor pricey enough to warrant wanting to see 4K graphics
